En el apartado relativo adiciones, retiros y subvenciones de una memoria anual de una empresa aparece esta expresión que no sé cómo interpretar:

"Los principales retiros de los ejercicios 2010 y 2009 corresponden a la entrega de derechos sobre emisiones de gases a su coste en libros por parte de las sociedades dependientes (name of the companies). Por otra parte, el Grupo ha procedido a la venta de derechos de emisión...
