Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Advertising / Public Relations / Spain // Academic Transcript | | Spanish term or phrase: aprobado / notable / sobresaliente | These are three different grades listed on a transcript for a student who took courses in a communications program at Spain's Complutense University.
I would tend to go with, successively, "passing", "with distinction" and "superior" but I wanted to see if anyone knew if there were better and/or established equivalents in the Spanish context.
Thank you. |

| Grading comment These choices seem to work best, although I think I like "superior" rather than "outstanding". Owen's suggestions very good as well, but would require more than one word in the cases of [with] merit and [with] distinction. Thanks to all. 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer |
