As you can see, these have advertising INSERTED in a BOX, which can be illuminated or not. If you compare these definitions to the ones above in English (not to mention compare the photos), you can see they're the same thing.

MUPIS are differentiated from "vallas publicitarias" and other types of outdoor advertising:
