Lo entiendo provisionalmente así:
"As far as special events are concerned, the Euro Cup, proved relatively less successull for XXXX, but the Special 2007 Christmas Offer was almos all soaked up by this Hymermarket". |

Creo que lo que dice es que el porcentaje casi total de la Oferta Especial Navidad 2007 se vendió (se canalizó) a través de este hipermercado (en comparación con otros puntos de venta), en lugar de hacer referencia a qué porcentaje de la oferta en este hipermercado se vendió (suena complicado, ¿no?).
