I am translating the website of a large cleaning service company, and the Spanish is not nearly as good as it should be. As you will see, punctuation is also a problem, but I can deal with that.

AAAAA es ***asesorada*** por entidades normalizadoras internacionales como ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association), líderes en regular procedimientos y rendimientos en procesos de limpieza y la aplicación de normas HACCP; sistema de control de seguridad microbiológica que garantiza la seguridad de la higiene.

QUESTION:
As I see it, ISSA is an association that provides training to these kinds of companies, so my first idea was to translate "is a member of." What do you think?
(The client has authorized me to improve the text as I translate.)
