Spanish term or phrase: la huelga... nos perjudicó
Se trata de la ventas de refrescos de una compañía. En este contexto:

"La Huelga Transportistas nos perjudicó en 2008"

De momento interpreto lo siguiente:

"The strike of road hauliers in 2008 was damaging."

agree  Lisa McCarthy: Just what I was going to post! 'badly affected' or 'hard hit by'

  -> thanks, Lisa

agree  Jenni Lukac: I like both suggestions. For a US audience road hauler or other alternatives would be better: freight transportation strike, trucker strike, haulage strike, road haulage strike ...
9 mins
  -> thanks, Jenni, other oprions would work in the UK too, except for "trucker"

  -> I take your point Phil, but I think that is the sense carried by the word perjudicar.

agree  spanruss: Yes, you need to add "badly". Otherwise, "affected" has a neutral connotation.
