Soy Adela, y estoy traduciendo una propuesta de cooperación técnica en materia de transporte entre el Perú y Canadá. Dentro del acápite 4.3. aparece la frase señalada anteriormente, cuya traducción me ha generado dudas.
Les doy el contexto para una mejor aclaración.
Versión origen:
Una de las zonas de menor integración al mercado nacional es la zona amazónica, debido a las dificultades de construir y mantener carreteras en un área caracterizada por su morfología aluvional, factor que tiene consecuencias en la elasticidad de los factores y sobre el ambiente.
Propuesta de traducción:
One of the least accessible areas to the domestic market is the Amazon jungle due to the difficulty of constructing and upgrading highways on a muddy soil, which negatively affects the behavior of the transportation flow and the environment.
Qué les parece mi propuesta???

No idea what 'terreno fangoso' means.
