Spanish term or phrase: cargas útiles

I need to know the specific term used in the industry. I know I can translate it functional loads or cargo but this does not seem right to me. I need those of you who are familiar and work in the Aerospace industry to suggest the proper term.

The sentence is as follows: ¿Que empressa diseña y/o desarrolla las cargas útiles para sus satélites?
