El alambique con calientavinos, por su parte, posee una segunda paila conocida con el nombre de calientavinos, por cuyo interior pasa un serpentín conectado a la paila principal, lo que permite economizar en combustible ya que el calor es aplicado en solo una de las pailas, la principal, y permite destilar dos cargas de mosto simultáneamente.
