Spanish to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Agriculture / Fruit Export and Import
Spanish term or phrase:caroso
Some kind of stone fruit, text is from Argentina - could be a typo since I can't find it anywhere:
"Nuestros principales productos son manzanas, peras, uva de mesa, fruta de hueso (**caroso**, nectarinas)"
Probably a rearrangment leftover. The original might have been:
"Nuestros principales productos son manzanas, peras, uva de mesa, fruta de hueso (carozo) y nectarinas".
Ahora creo que tiene sentido la frase.
Carozo=Stone pit.
"whole common cherries with stone in syrup" so it maybe it means the cherry itself (cereza) or the stone/pit? The latter doesn't seem to fit the context.

carozo (stone/pit)
Explanation: I think this is a typo for 'carozo', term used in Argentina for the stone of a fruit
