Science - Agriculture / Pesticde residues / Regulations | | Spanish term or phrase: sistema de transmisión de responsabilidad (STR) | SPAIN. Acronym query. Am looking for something akin to an EU "official" (not MT) translation of this term to find out if the acronym "STR" should be translated or not. The client doesn't know (I already asked them). "Responsabilidad" could be "accountability/liability/responsibility" but after trawling the EU sites I can't find anything with these permutations.
The context is pesticide regs:
"La normativa actual establece que la responsabilidad de la gestión de los envases agrarios, como en general de todos los residuos industriales, es de quien produce el residuo, en nuestro caso del agricultor cuando consume el producto.
