Spanish term or phrase: sin cortapisas
I assume that it means "short cuts" but I don't like that in the context of this sentence (this is more from the prologue to the book on Mayan archaeological sites):

Un profundo agradecimiento va, sin cortapisas, para [el editorial], por preservar este acervo abundante, esta memoria remota, a través de la edición del libro ...

Clarification request(s) and response
Patricia Rosas: 7:59pm Oct 11, 2007: Aide: Do you think it might be #3? or #2? "Without needing to embellish, we are deeply grateful to the [publisher]"?
MarinaM: 8:04pm Oct 11, 2007: Yes, Patricia. The word came to my mind automatically as if I had read/heard it somewhere. I checked on internet and there are only 6 entries (and no reliable)
MarinaM: 8:07pm Oct 11, 2007: I'd use Alicia's option instead of "unblushingly".
Patricia Rosas: 8:09pm Oct 11, 2007: "unblushingly" was what I suggested, but I don't know if it really works...
xxxCMJ_Trans: 8:12pm Oct 11, 2007: hablar sin cortapisas - to speak freely, without prevarication/sin cortapisas = without strings attached - 2 dictionary definitions
Aida Pons: 8:24pm Oct 11, 2007: Hi Alicia, I was thinking of #1 actually. Sin condiciones o restricciones. As CMJ Trans puts it 'to speak freely...'

unreservedly
Explanation:
That's the sense it conveys (at least at this side of the pond). No qualifications, no strings attached.
