Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Archaeology / Mexico, Olmec | | Spanish term or phrase: ceja del altar | From a Mexican text on an Olmec archaeological site. I googled and got zero hits, but it is used twice in this document. I can't find any helpful photos either. (The author notes that "altar" may be a misnomer since these structures could have been used for other purposes.) I thought about translating it "brow of the altar" but it seems too literal...
"Otro ejemplo sería el Altar 4: el personaje principal emerge de un nicho central y en la **ceja del altar** se aprecia el rostro de una figura compuesta." and
