Spanish to English translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Archaeology | | Spanish term or phrase: en alzado | From a heritage impact study that is part of an environmental impact study (Spain). They are talking about what can happen if earthmoving takes place without first identifying possible archaeological remains and corrective measures:
"...el desmantelamiento de elementos patrimoniales *en alzado* sin un previo conocimiento de los mismos..."
Any ideas?

| | | raised | Explanation: I believe this is the meaning here: for example roofs or archways which are the first part of buried buildings etc to be unearthed/dug up/discovered...
