Los diferentes restos materiales encontrados han sido atribuidos por muchos años, a la Cultura Chimú, esta región entonces fue "Chimuizada" por Tello en 1929, Kroeber en 1939; denomina a la cerámica clásica como "North Chimú" y "Chimú Cursivo”.

I cannot think of an English word that that means chimuizada that would make sense; however what they mean to say is "this region was declared Chimú territory by Tello." I just talked to my Peruvian wife about this.

neutral  Gilla Evans: I've read a lot about the Chumú empire, and I don't think you can use a term here that is not in accepted archaeological use.
