Spanish term or phrase: pórfido trapense
I have found porphyry for pórfido, but I can't find trapense.
This is an article about the Aztec calendar stone.

trappean porphyry
Explanation:
Porphyry is a purple stone/rock.
Trappean is a derivative of TRAP (IGNEOUS ROCKS)
I don't know much about rocks but take a look here, it might be helpful, it explains porphyry and trappean rocks:

\"It would be easy to multiply examples and authorities to prove the gradation of
the Plutonic into the trap rocks. On the western side of the Fiord of
Christiania, in Norway, there is a large district of trap, chiefly greenstone-
porphyry and syenitic-greenstone, resting on fossiliferous strata. To this, on
its southern limit, succeeds a region equally extensive of syenite, the passage
from the trappean to the crystalline Plutonic rock being so gradual that it is
impossible to draw a line of demarkation between them\"

agree  Terry Ogborn: Good job. Much better than my answer of "trappist", which I've managed to make invisible when I really wanted to ammend it.

porphyritic rock

Explanation:
"trappean porphyritic rock" might be even better - please see the reference I've given. It makes things clearer I think.
