Spanish to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Architecture / description of a building
Spanish term or phrase: retanquear
Normally this verb means re-fill and refers to filling up your gas tank. But here???

"La torre de 10 plantas queda separada del zócalo por la planta técnica, que se *retanquea* respecto al plano de fachada, “flotando” sobre la base."

is set back
Explanation:
I think you've got a typo and is should be "retranquea" - which means it's set back from the plane of the façade. (Check the Kudoz glossary for retranqueo, for example).

Thanks Cindy. My last two Kudoz questions have turned out to be typos! I bet our clients would jump on us if we let one through the net though ;-)
