[streches] of wall
Explanation:
Having translated some documents by architects, I find that they love to over-decorate the descriptions of their creations, making for challenging translations. So I try to come up with equally decorative translations which can be a challenge, but in this case I think I'd simply go with "walls" or "stretches of wall".

Whole blocks lie hidden behind flat stretches of wall like in a typical South American village and the old-fashioned carts and cobbled streets help further set the scene.

Wall body or bodies or wall seems to be used in architecture.
The Walls are high enough so that the bodies of Wall and roof intersect. http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?printertop...

disagree  rich.: the first linguee example is "stone" because they are describing the Plaza de los Milagros, but what's to say this wall is made of stone?

agree  Rick Larg: or even 'sections' of wall. Careful with the T in stretches.

running wall structures

Explanation:
An idea based on the material provided. As both materials and technology were limited in 1956 when the house was built, the wall structures were made with a combination of materials (ashland cement, brick, etc.) that were later faced with various materials or painted. More on the house in this bilingual text, but nothing that links directly with the idea of "bandas" in this context. [PDF]
casas Iranzo y MMI
www.unav.es/arquitectura/documentos/publicaciones/pdfs/158....
The authors do talk about dividing the house into three "strips" but they don't use that term to describe the exterior walls, but rather to talk about sections or units (kitchen, living room, etc.).
