Hi, Edward! Thanks for trying to help me out. I finally found a glossary in Spanish that referred me to the term "esteca" which I take to be a back translation of "stake," a term found in most of my English glossary (it can be metal or wood). So that's what I'm going to use. It might turn out to be a vise or clamp, but I can't be sure :-(
Thanks again!
