THis is from an Argentine painter's descriptio of his grandmother:
Personaje singular, arbitrario y compasivo, (le regaló el “smocking” de su marido a un
pordiosero que tocó el timbre de la calle) gran volantinera de la imaginación cuando la conocí, no escatimaba esfuerzos en señalar lo que creía era su verdad.

Is it comparing her imagination to a kite?
