Spanish term or phrase: pasante
I have a gigantic list of beads... I think "pasante" refers to the fact that there is a hole going thru the bead. Maybe just "2-hole"?
Here are a few examples:

Explanation:
the fact you have a long list of these beads seems to mean they are not just pendant beads but can be used for lots of purposes. I think they may be slightly larger in size so that they can be used as bracelets/earrings and in necklaces or pendants. I don't think they are necessarily double-holed (I think it would be specified if they were).
It seems that a lot of sites for condoms (ribbed) comes appear when googling "pasantes"!! But the following link for pasante collection of beads shows various uses as brooches/bracelets etc

agree  Mary Lou Gonzalez: I would say that the hole goes all the way through the bead. Some beads/crystals are half-drilled (for a pendant or earrings) and can't be beaded, they are glued to the wire or base.

  -> thanks Marylougt. I think you're right about the hole going right through to "pasar" the wire/thread to get a better fixing. It can be seen clearly that beads in 1st link are threaded right through
