without effect Explanation: Tengo unas notas de una universidad venezolana en las que lo traduje de esa manera. En mi caso, no decía sobreseído, pero pienso que significa lo mismo. En mi caso, el documento decía que si un estudiante aprobaba una materia que anteriormente había reprobado, la nota inmediatamente anterior dejaba de tener efecto y sólo valía la nueva nota. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2006-10-24 21:41:40 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- No estoy segura de si se trata del mismo caso.
