Spanish term or phrase:vehículo carrozado
I'm translating two contracts for a company which produces bodyworks (carrocerías), and the term "vehículo carrozado" repeatedly appears in one of the contracts.
I think it means "vehicle which is having a body put on it," but am wondering if there is a more concise way to put this.
Here are some examples of the term in the contract:
Explanation: It is translated in a European Union Directive as bodied vehicle which would fit your context, hope it might help:
eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUri...:0015:EN:PDF
posteriores.»;
‘For the purpose of this Chapter “bodied vehicle” means a vehicle for which the passenger compartment is
bounded or may be bounded by at least four of the following elements: windscreen, floor, roof, side and rear
walls or doors.’;
Thanks to everyone for your help! In the end, I found both "bodied vehicle" and "vehicle with bodywork" in official EU documents ("vehicle with bodywork" was listed in the IATE), but I've decided to award the points to Claire for providing the clear explanation that led me to verifying both solutions as options used in official EU-documents.
Thanks again to everyone! 4 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
Thanks to all 5 of you for your answers! Many of them would work, depending on the context -- and all of them were better than what I had. Have a great weekend!

6 mins confidence:
vehicle that has bodywork completed
Explanation: Given the context, I believe this is the meaning: "Transcurridos quince [15] días des de la notificación a XXX de que el vehículo carrozado está disponible para su retirada"
You cannot pick it up until the bodywork has been done.

Explanation: A bit less technical but captures the intended meaning. Sets cars, trucks apart from golf carts, forklifts, etc. Alternative: Vehicles with enclosed passenger compartment.

Somewhere in the contract the term 'vehiculo carrozado' should be defined (if it is a good contract) which might help you out.
After all, the body could be painted/unpainted; with trim/without trim, etc.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Unfortunately, the term was never defined in the contract. Nevertheless, thanks a lot for your answer -- I considered it but ending up going with another option.
