Al seguir girando la bobina, el embrague llega a la posición de la leva empujándola.
A su vez ésta se desliza guiada por un tetón hasta el final de la guía del gatillo.
Al llegar al final de la guía, el tetón desplaza al gatillo haciendo que entre en contacto con la corona dentada solidaria a la bobina impidiendo su rotación y por tanto bloqueando al cinturón.
Cuando se tira de la correa del cinturón de seguridad, la bobina y el resorte giran aumentando la fuerza de este último.
