Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to translate "contusion en el cuello" as a cause of death listed on a Mexican autopsy report. Thank you!

Thank you! Now I can't see why the neck contusion itself would be the CAUSE of death (it would be a sign suggesting how he might have been killed)...but that's not a translation question!

neutral  liz askew: I think there is a subtle difference between "del cuello" and "en el cuello" :)

  -> In the autopsy report under evidence of injury it mentions a midline neck contusion. I think both ways are acceptable. I wanted to avoid a literal translation.
