Spanish term or phrase: ácido lípcico
se trata de un programa de estudio de la materia quimica biologica. Cuando enumera los temas aparece lo siguiente:
ciclo tricarboxílico: secuencia de reacciones. Coenzima A. Acido lipcico. No encuentro el término "lipcico". No encuentro el término en español para saber su significado y cuando lo googleo me aparece como "lipoico" , quería saber si se trataba del mismo tipo de ácido o si son dos tipos diferentes.

agree  Zareh Darakjian Ph.D.: Without the alpha (not needed). This is clear from the context. Lipoic aicd helps in the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl coenzyme A. As simple as that. See ref. please.
