en tu contexto preciso de gestión de carteras, renta fija significa bonos/obligaciones ya que en la mayoría de los casos el flujo de intereses está predeterminado, mientras que renta variable designa a las acciones ya que estan pagan unos dividendos que varian inmensamente según los ingresos de las empresas,por definición imposibles de prever y extremadamente fluctuantes en comparación con los ingresos relativamente estables de los bonos

si, aurora, estoy de acuerdo contigo de que el mundo financiero es muy amplio, sin embargo estas expresiones de renta fija/variable tienen un significado preciso aceptado por los que operan en el \"ámbito financiero\" (y no me refiero solamente al diario del mismo nombre :-)). Te adjunto una referencia para que puedas comprobar este punto:

Como el contexto que dan es el financiero yo propuse desde el punto de vista del mundo financiero de las tarjetas de crédito.

En realidad, ver \"renta\" usado así es bastante raro.

Pienso que la primera renta en realidad se puede referir a los \"cargos\" (porque son fijos) y la segunda a los \"intereses\" (que son los variables).

Es mi modestísima opinión ya que el mundo \"financiero\" es tan amplio. Saludos, Aurora

disagree  JH Trads: Hola Aurora, lo de variable, se refiere a los dividendos de las acciones que son tan pero tan variables como los resultados de las empresas.Si bien existen intereses variables, renta variable= acciones en la terminología de mercados :-)
