Explanation:
Es un uso del español que no tiene forma de ser traducido, porque sencillamente no se usa.

De ahí que la misiva comience directamente por Dear Sir, Dear Mr Brown, etc.

Pero Dear Sir/ Madam, no es la traducción de " de mi consideración"

NO he dicho que el diccionario sea deficiente, ni tampoco he dicho que soy una erudita.

Creo que debemos aprender a aceptar las diferencias con altura.

agree  Stuart Allsop: I might be 4 years late with my "agree", but better late than never. You certainly have the most correct interpretation, dictionaries notwithstanding. There simply is no direct translation in English. There is only an equivalent phrase ("Dear Sirs")
