Relationship marketing Explanation: In general context it is marketing that seeks to create brand loyalty by developing relationships between the company and the consumer. Other examples of relationship marketing can be seen in Home Depot's do-it-yourself courses, FAQ mailings to registered users of a product, etc. |

"target marketing" Explanation: In this context, I would translate it as "The incentive trip is the target marketing tool that has gotten the best results..." Good luck! |

relationship marketing (this is in support of the first answerer, above) Explanation: A very electronic-media oriented concept. For some discussion of this term in Spanish, see Mar MonsorĂu's website: www.mixmarketing-online.com/vocabulario.html --- A definition from Termium: English:Marketing relationship marketing s CORRECT CONT - Il will involve an aggressive relationship marketing campaign aimed at pre-cultivated account. s DEF - Relationship marketing is a concept for delivering information based on the individual needs of the customer or prospect. Rather than send out broad, mass marketing appeals, information is delivered based on a prospects individual orientation, needs and concerns. This is one-on-one individual marketing communication. relational marketing, or relationship marketing Explanation: I gather this is the same as "marketing relationnel" in French. Seems to be geared to trying to establish a kind of "relationship" with the customer/would-be customer in order to better answer to their expectations. Look up "relationship marketing" or "relational marketing" on AltaVista, there are lots of hits. I think "relationship marketing" is more common than "relational". Claire |
