Spanish term or phrase: LIQUIDACIÓN
ESTATUTOS DE UNA EMPRESA:

Articulo 8: La empresa considerará a los accionistas con derecho a voto registrado en la nómina final de accionistas hasta el 31 de marzo de cada año, como aquellos que pueden ejercer el derecho a voto en las Juntas Generales Ordinarias de Accionistas referentes al período de *liquidación*.

Artículo 9: La Junta General Ordinaria de Accionistas de la empresa será convocada dentro de los tres meses a partir de la fecha de finalización del período de *liquidación*; la Junta General Extraordinaria será convocada cada vez que sea necesario.

Artículo 15: El mandato de los directores se extenderá hasta el término de la Junta General Ordinaria de Accionistas convocada al finalizar el período de *liquidación* dentro del año de haber sido elegidos; el mandato de los auditores se extenderá hasta el término de la Junta General Ordinaria de Accionistas convocada al finalizar el período de *liquidación* dentro de los cuatro años de haber sido elegidos.

Artículo 21: El ejercicio fiscal de la empresa se iniciará el 1ero de abril de cada año y finalizará el 31 de marzo del año siguiente, realizándose la *liquidación* al término del ejercicio fiscal.

Explanation:
Per your request, I had a (second) look at this... I hadn't answered before because I didn't think it made much sense...

Now that I see it's a J>S translation, I suspect they used the wrong word and the phrase SHOULD be "period in questïon"

Before I thought it might be referring to the end of the fiscal year.

However, since you can't translate what YOU THINK it should say... my solution would be to go with "liquidation period [sic]"

Explanation:
Faltaría aún más CONTEXTO; puede referirse al pago de dividendos.

En general en los estatutos de una sociedad (los que he visto yo y de otros países ya que no conozco el origen aquí - CONTEXTO)la palabra "liquidación" no se usa en ese sentido sino que se refiere a la liquidación (desaparición) de la sociedad.
