6.3. Puesto de Vigilancia Permanente.

Se entiende por “Puesto de Vigilancia Permanente” a instalaciones destinadas a proteger al personal del Servicio de Vigilancia y los dispositivos de control de circulación de personas, vehículos y otros bienes que en cada caso correspondan.

Las características de un Puesto de Vigilancia Permanente, son:

a. Operar en forma permanente,

b. Tener capacidad y equipamiento para resguardar de las condiciones climáticas a por lo menos dos personas,

c. Disponer de comunicación de telefonía fija y autónoma permanente con los demás Puestos de Vigilancia existentes,

d. Disponer de elementos manuales y / o mecánicos y / o electrónicos para el registro de personas, vehículos y bienes que circulen a través del mismo.

e. Disponer (para aquellos Puestos de Vigilancia que su importancia lo requiera) de Pc’s con acceso a los sistemas de correo electrónico y de control centrales, con el fin de estar en permanente conexión con el resto de la organización.

f. En los Anexos I a IV se detallan los distintos Puestos de Vigilancia existentes en los *ámbitos físicos de negocio* de XXX.

6.4. Control de llaves en sobres cerrados.

En cada *instalación física de negocio* de XXX, el Puesto de Vigilancia Principal o su equivalente, mantendrá en su poder sobres cerrados con llaves de acceso a sectores específicos de las instalaciones cuya custodia es responsabilidad de ese Puesto.

Estas llaves sólo podrán ser entregadas al Puesto por los responsables indicados en el Anexo VII., Punto 3. “AUTORIZACIONES DE INGRESO A *ÁMBITOS DE NEGOCIO* DE XXX” o quien éstos deleguen, en sobre cerrado, identificado y firmado, pudiendo requerir su devolución o entrega en cualquier momento en que lo soliciten.

In the Harper Collins Dictionary, the first translation of "ámbito" is "boundary" or "limit". And in this case, with surveillance going on, it seems an appropriate choice.
