agree  moken: Q.: if this were an academic/analytical text, wouldn't you keep the passive voice: "geographic market, accounting, and monetary differences were adjusted"? :O)

  -> Thanks, Alvaro. I'd say it depends on the tone of the rest of the document. I wrote it in passive voice first, but it doesn't sound right to me, since it is clear that is was part of their own analysis, so they are the ones who made the adjustments.
