Business/Commerce (general) / retail
Spanish term or phrase: quintal, bidones, docenas, bolsones
Units of measure to purchase for retail sale in Nicaragua, as in "4 quintales de arroz, 2 quintales de azucar, 2 bolsones de belvet(papel higienico), 2 bidones de aceite"
English translation:(short) hundredweight, drum, dozen, large bag
These correspond to quintal (46kg) also known as a short hundredweight; has an abbreviation 'cwt'
Bidón - for transporting oil, petrol and the like
Docena - as in a dozen eggs (usually)
Bolsón - from 'bolso' ; you could possibly use sack here also.
The only technical one is the quintal, the rest are more or less everyday words....
Anyhow, hope this helps somewhat.
