Spanish term or phrase:sector residencial
Text about use of natural gas "en el sector doméstico, residencial y terciario". I think in this context it must refer to"residencias" i.e. for the elderly, students etc.
Any ideas on how to make this distinction meaningfully in English?
Thanks!

I've found an interesting reference:
"sólida empresa dedicada al comercio al por mayor y distribución de material eléctrico (distribución de la energía, residencial y terciario, doméstico e industrial)..." (http://www.trabajo.org/ofertas-empleo/servicio_doméstico)
It seems some people know the difference between those terms.
I wonder if doméstico vs. residencial is distinguishing between use for appliances (cookers, clothes dryers) and heating. Maybe "domestic/residential and service sector" would be suitable in English?

"residential sector"
Explanation: This text is talking about "sectors" as a kind of audience ("domestic" and "tertiary" sectors, also), not about a physical place.

Asker: Thanks very much for the useful links! But my problem is what's the difference between the domestic and residential sectors? The phrase gives the impression they are different.
Asker: Hi Eloy! Thanks for new link - you're right, someone out there knows the difference!
