This term comes from a letter from a Venezuelan government department postponing the date for the presentation of bids for an RFP process. The first paragraph of the letter reads:

CONTEXT: "La Dirección de Abastecimiento de Xxxxxx, de conformidad con lo establecido en el articulo N° XX de la Ley de Contrataciones Publicas, publicada en Gaceta Oficial N° Xxxx de fecha Xxxx; en correlación con el articulo N° XX del Reglamento de la Ley de Contrataciones Publicas, publicado en Gaceta Oficial N° Xxxxx de fecha Xxxxxx, solicita mediante el presente ***acto motivado***, que se otorgue una ampliación del lapso establecido al proceso de selección de contratistas, modalidad...”.
