Spanish term or phrase: facturas vencidas/monto vencido
Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me the proper translation into English of facturas vencidas and monto vencido in the following sentences:

"A mas tardar estaremos enviando transferencia bancaria por $... a fin de cancelar la totalidad de las facturas vencidas hasta el 30 de septiembre."

(At the latest we will be sending a bank transfer for $.. to pay all the OVERDUE (?) PAYABLE (?) invoices up until September 30.)

and:
"Le comunico que estoy imponiendo un "shipment hold" para la cuenta de.... por el monto vencido con el que cerro el mes pasado de septiembre."

(I am letting you know that I am imposing a shipment hold on ...'s account for the OVERDUE (?) PAYABLE(?) amount with which it closed in September.}

Help!!
Thank you!

overdue invoices, overdue amounts
Explanation:
Overdue is the right term to use here, because the invoices are being paid after their due dates.

Good luck! :)

Thank you very much. I agree that past due and overdue appear to be synonymous, but will go with the majority on this one.
Thanks again!

agree  María Eugenia Wachtendorff: I agree; "past due" and "overdue" are synonymous. However, in this particular case I would use "overdue," don't ask me why :)
