Spanish term or phrase:DESARROLLO DEL ACTIVO INTEGRAL
Not much context I'm afraid; it's just a list of works and costs.
CONSTRUCCIÓN, AMPLIACIÓN Y REACONDICIONAMIENTO DE LOCALIZACIONES PARA LA PERFORACIÓN DE POZOS EXPLORATORIOS Y DE DESARROLLO DEL ACTIVO INTEGRAL BELLOTA- JUJO Y/U OTROS DE LA REGIÓN SUR, PAQUETE 3 (EN ASOCIACION CON XXXXX)
Explanation: I think I've found it!! Your last comment did the trick! It seems that an activo integral is a place where gas, oil, coal, etc is produced. Hence, the word "integral".
The South Region of PEMEX E&P has hydrocarbon production from five exploitation integrated assets including Bellota-Jujo, Cinco-Presidentes, Macuspana, Muspac and Samaria-Luna. The producer fields and reservoirs of these assets consist of Tertiary sandstones and Cretaceous naturally fractured carbonate rocks, and produce all types of petroleum fluids that include dry gas, wet gas, gas-condensate, volatile oil and black oil, with densities ranging from 10 °API to superior quality oils greater than 45 °API.
When talking about one, they're referred to as fields or production fields. Try typing "oil field or oil and gas (production) field" and you'll get a load of results.
As for helping you, it's been a pleasure. You know what they say, "Hoy por ti, mañana por mí" :)
I agree, and would prefer to do as you suggest and not translate the term but later in the document there are other instances of the term such as:
"CAMPOS Y/O LOCALIZACIONES DE LOS ACTIVOS QUE INTEGRAN LA REGIÓN SUR"
and
"LOCALIZACIONES DE POZOS DEL ACTIVO DE PRODUCCION CINCO PRESIDENTES"
Thanks for you input Helen
Yes, I agree that an activo integral seems to be what you suggest but, on the other hand, people don't seem to translate it. It's one of the many terms that is often understood better by the people who work in the field if it's kept in the original language.
Could it possible be oilfield or oil producing field?
Legal aspects and technical alternatives for the treatment of reservoir brines at the Activo Luna oilfield, Mexico http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15765938
I found this:
On February 11, 2010, PEP published in the DOF the call for the International Public Bid No. 18575051-003-10, for the award of an unitary prices public works agreement for the works related to hydraulic fracturing in oils wells in the “Activo Integral Burgos” (west and central area) and others of the north region in the States of Tabasco, Veracruz and Tamaulipas. http://www.whitecase.com/files/Publication/c80cf2f3-4638-47d...
Thanks everyone!
According to that image, "El Castaño" seems to be the name of the Industrial Estate (Zona Industrial = Polígono Industrial in Spain). The reason why I think "Activo Integral" is not part of the company name is because the text you posted says "desarrollo DEL Activo Industrial ... Y/U OTROS". What I highlighted in capital letters suggest that it's referring to a specific "activo integral" and others (otros) in the region.
Publications - Overview of Natural Gas Center 1.1.iii Production: In 2008, the production of natural gas was 6,919 dmcf, 14.2% increase with respect to the previous year. For associated gas Mexico reached 4,319.8 dmcf, which represented an increase of 25.4%, mainly by the production of gas fields near the transition zone of the Northeast sea region known as “Activo Integral Cantarell”. For non-associated gas Mexico reached the production of 2,598.8 dmcf, which represented a slight decrease in connection with 2007.
The hotel is just one block away from the World Trade Center making it a perfect choice for business guests attending major conferences and conventions that take place there. It is also just a short walk away from Banamex Financial Tower; ***Activo Integral*** of Petroleos Mexicanos and Grupo PIASA and is situated close to main commercial and industrial areas such as the Bruno Pagliai Industrial City and the Santa Fe industrial area. Free parking is available at the hotel with 2 covered parking lots with a capacity for 55 vehicles and other outdoor parking areas with a capacity for 60 vehicles and buses.
En mi opinión, Activo Integral no forma parte del nombre de la empresa. Fijaros que la frase dice "...y de desarrollo DEL Activo Integral Bellota-Jujo Y/U OTROS de la región..."
This seems to be correct - it appears to be a company's name, see:

I think Activo Integral Bellota Jujo is the name of the company. I wouldn't change it.

development of administrative center
Explanation: For PEMEX, in Mexico, "Activo Integral" refers to administrative offices for certain oil project. For Instance "Activo Integral Burgos" would be Administrative offices for Burgo's Project.

Asker: Thanks for your response, but according to this image, it doesn't look like an administrative office http://es.scribd.com/doc/42879310/Activo-Bellota-Jujo-FINAL
Explanation: El desarrollo de un activo integral de cualquier projecto significa construir y elaborar todo lo necesario para poder trabajar en la obra.
Example sentence(s):

The client had no suggestion, and I decided on oil-producing asset in the end. Thanks once again Helen!
Notes to answerer
Asker: Good find! I guess I can translate "activo" when used alone, i.e. "CAMPOS Y/O LOCALIZACIONES DE LOS ACTIVOS QUE INTEGRAN LA REGIÓN SUR", simply as "asset". I'm still waiting from the client to get back to me on this; I'll let you know when they do. Thanks again Helen!
