For what I have read la TGI is paid to a municipality...Municipalidad de Rosario, Municipalidad de Rafaela, Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Salta, etc. Apparently in Buenos Aires es el impuesto ABL, and in Formosa is known as Tasa Única de Servicios...UK does not have a municipal tax per se, you can read more here
