Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) | | Spanish term or phrase: Comite de Presidencia / Presidente | Two documents from a national telecommunications company:
1. Comite de Presidencia Meeting Minutes
2. Junta Directiva Meeting Minutes
Both list different Presidentes
The Presidente listed in the Comite de Presidencia document is definately the president of the company.
The Presidente for the Board of Directors is also the city mayor (according to Google)
Would the correct terms here be President's Committee/ President for the first document and "Chairman" for the second? Thanks so much. |

The "Presidente de la Junta Directiva" is most definitely the Chairman of the Board of Directors. In the U.S. that person is often the President and maybe the CEO, outside the U.S. that is less so.
But no matter what, he's the Chairman of the Board. |
