Spanish term or phrase: volátiles en aceites de extensión

The above phrase was taken from the text below outlining a test procedure on oil. For aceites de extension, I was thinking on the lines of "dispersed oils" but any other suggestions would be welcomed - thanks in advance :-)

Determinación de volátiles en aceites de extensión.

-l.-OBJETO Y FUNDAMENTO.-
Este ensayo tiene por objeto determinar los componentes volátiles a una determinada temperatura que acompañan a un aceite ; un exceso de estos componentes podría ocasionar problemas en el proceso de acabado del polímero y también podrían aparecer en el producto final, junto con el agua, como compuestos volátiles de caucho. A la vez, y mediante este mismo ensayo ,puede determinarse la estabilidad del color del aceite a esa temperatura. Un peso determinado de aceite se coloca en una estufa a 160°C durante 3 horas y se calcula su pérdida de peso y se determina la variación de color experimentada.
