¿Cómo se traduce el verbo "aforar" en el contexto de trabajo en el laboratorio de química?

Contexto:
A este volumen de agua se le agregó las soluciones de acuerdo a lo establecido en la tabla 3.4 y se aforó a 1 L con la misma agua.

AFORAR: Llevar un volumen de un líquido contenido en un recipiente especial, (matraz aforado, in English: volumetric flask) hasta cierta marca o aforo, que indican que la cantidad de líquido contenido en el recipiente hasta dicha marca es exactamente cierto volumen indicado en el rótulo del recipiente.

Aforar es “gage” (American English) o “gauge” (Bristish English), it can also be translated as “dilute to volume”
