Spanish term or phrase: la de la glándula sudorípara
se trata de una tesis sobre fibrosis quística. En una de sus partes dice lo siguiente:
Las mutaciones que preservan parcialmente la función del canal mantienen frecuentemente una función pancreática normal y, ocasionalmente, la de la glándula sudorípara. Mi duda es en relación con esta última parte ya que no logro entender la oración en español. A qué se refiere con : la de la glándula sudorípara?
Lamentablemente no puedo contactar la autor.

Creo que la "la" que queda en duda en esta frase se refiere a una de las "funciones" -- en este caso: "la [funcion] de la glandula sudoripara".
