...no dice si rehidratan, aun cuando quizá lo hagan. Pero si ésa era la intención del autor, hubiera dicho rehidratantes.
Tampoco pone el acento en que no sean alcohólicas, aunque obviamente no lo son. Pero tampoco son lácteas, por ejemplo.
Lo único que dice el autor es que son hídricas, base: agua.

I reckon non-alcoholic drinks may be the best option, normally '(re)hydrating drinks' in Spanish are bebidas isotonicas - the same as in English we don't normally say hydrating drinks but either water or isotonic drinks. So as it appears with alcoholic drinks, may be they just mean non-alcoholic....just an idea.
