Spanish term or phrase: tulipa

Anyone know the name for this part of a gas (in this case CO2) cylinder?

"el RPI levanta la botella para colocarla en el armario de almacenaje, se desprende la tulipa y la botella se cae" is all the context I can give.
I think it may also be called "collarín".

I think it has to be "cap", because it is removable.

Explanation:
In my 4 years being taught in Uni labs, + 4 years teaching at Uni labs we just called it a "tulip", but I must concede that "tulip cap" may be its full name.
