Spanish term or phrase:caja de desempalme
Various workshop tools and equipment: Cables de cobre multipares subterraneos y autosuspendidos para enlaces troncales y accesos a clientes, cajas deempalme, etc. (They have "deempalme", but I'm pretty sure it should be "desempalme".) A caja de empalme is a juntion box, but I have NO idea what this is.

I´m sure it´s "cajas de empalme". And it´s "junCtion box". - Catherine Harrison: 2:53am Dec 19, 2005: But the original has "deempalme". Have to admit I've found various spelling errors in the original; but can I assume that this is a juntion box? This is a company that designs, engineers, installs, provides etc. internet network services.
