Hello,
I am translating a text about till/cashpoint systems that record the various operations performed. I cannot quite understand what "no tiene que llevar el separador" means here. Does the "separador" refer back to the semicolon? Even if so, I could do with some help understanding the overall context. Thanks in advance!


Fichero de estancias:
Este fichero tendrá dos tipos de registros, una cabecera y un detalle con los movimientos.

Como normal general para todos los datos de los registros estos irán separados por el carácter punto y coma, serán de longitud variable, el último campo de cada registro no tiene que llevar el separador, los importes siempre vendrán a ser posible con los dos decimales, aunque estos sean ceros y el formato de las fechas será el siguiente:
