English translation:angled power and data outlet housing
Explanation:
The models shown on the site in question would seem to have been replaced by more modern alternatives integrated with the design of office furniture but you can see some similar style products in the references below.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no English equivalent for 'periscopio' in this context.

Asker: This may be it. I continued doing research and I chose "outlet box". Thank you all.

Why not use the literal translation? I would :)

Lots of naval terms are used in IT, you know.

Hope you are right, Damian! "Outlet box" sounds so much as an electrical fixture... Nothing electronic in it.

I wonder, though. It's much too strange to find a device named so differently from its English equivalent! I would definitely stick to the literal translation.

Can't you contact your client?

It's not an "approach," Damian. We are translators and you posted a translation question. You are the one who has to do the research work before asking.

Note to reference poster
Asker: I've donde some reasearch and this is definitely not the right translation. I've come up with "outlet box" as a possible equivalent

Asker: I do not quite agree with your approach. You just have to browse through websites of structured cabling and electronic manufacturers and vendors to seethere is no such thing as "periscope". Thank you all the same
