Spanish term or phrase: tareas pueden estar suspendidas
Rather than using postponed or pending here, would it be appropriate to say that the "tasks are put on hold". There are different reasons for the delays as can be seen below. I've used "time delay" for "espera temporizada".

- simplemente **suspendidas**, se activan explícitamente

From the context I would guess this is to do with operating systems and if so, I would be tempted to say that the task is "blocked" as in the references.

Example sentence(s):
  • Running to blocked (see fig 3.10 and table 3.5 in Ref 1)
  • a task has three states: 1) running (executing on the CPU), 2) ready (ready to be executed), 3) blocked (waiting for input/output) (Ref. 2)
