Spanish term or phrase: vigilancia de alimentación de los comunes
Communications Equipment for Signals / Real-Time Database

Could this be referring to the power monitor of/from the common circuits?

Thanks in advance.

"Los señalizaciones simples son las siguientes:

common power supply checks/checking
Explanation:
Vigilancia = checking, keeping an eye on; surveillance (not appropriate here IMO, but some colleagues may disagree)
alimentación = (power) supply (or feed, depending on context/preference, am not sure quite which is best to use here)
common: in common.
You may find this worded differently in different sources.

Basically if it's about bit/information/data packet flow, then "feed" is what we want; but if it's the power supply per se, then...

I wouldn't use "monitor" to avoid confusion with any... monitors there may be in the system. "Monitoring" might work though...

Thanks Neil. I've since realised that "los comunes" refers to "shared equipment", which was mentioned earlier in the text.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Yes, I had thought of "monitoring" actually. The fact that it's a noun made me wonder if it was talking about a piece of equipment, ie a monitor, but perhaps not.
