Computers (general) / Terms & Conditions of a Technical Support Package
Spanish term or phrase: Cobertura Tecnológica
This is the title of a range of technical support packages (basic, advanced and premium) offered to customers at the time of purchasing a computer from a large chain of computer stores in Spain.

In its basic format, it extends the manufacturer's warranty from 1 to 3 years, and covers hardware replacements/repairs for the same period (albeit limited cover). It also includes telephone support. The more you pay, the more you get, basically. The premium service includes free call outs and no labour costs for upgrades or transferring data to a new computer, and replacement laptops while your computer is being repaired, for example.

A literal translation simply doesn't work here (Technological Cover), as the Google hits will attest to...

I'm thinking 'Technical Support Cover' or just 'Technical Support'. But do you think either of these would cover the different packages sufficiently?

All suggestions welcome!

Thanks in advance :)

or 'formalise' - look what happens just after having to translate a document into US English!
